The former Oyo National Park, which is situated in the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone, was reportedly attacked by gunmen.
According to reports, there were a few fatalities during the incident.

Olayinka Ayanlade, the Oyo State Police Command’s public relations officer, verified the information.
The police and other security personnel are already on their route to the location, he added.
In a statement delivered to reporters on Wednesday afternoon, he confirmed the information.
“Yes there was an attack by yet to be identified men against the men of the national park.
“The Commissioner of Police Oyo State Police Command and other service chief are currently on their way to the location meanwhile the Commissioner of Police Oyo State Police Command CP Femi Haruna have deployed Tactical teams, Mobile Police Force officer of the NPF and EOD to the affected area to prevent further breakdown of law and order”.
