Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, better known by his stage name Portable, is a controversial singer who has accused his father, Mr. Olalomi, of stealing his clothing and other personal items.
The Zazu crooner stated in a video broadcast that his father has been pursuing his belongings and assets, drawing comparisons to the father of the late musician Mohbad.
According to Portable, his life was more secure when his father wasn’t there.
He clarified that when he was learning tailoring, his father did not support his studies or cover the cost of his skill development.
Expressing his frustration, Portable said, “My dad’s presence in my life is doing me more harm than good. My life was better and more stable when he wasn’t in the picture.
“When I was younger, he didn’t take care of me. He did not send me to school. He did not pay for my tailoring apprenticeship fee.
“His presence is affecting my life negatively. My dad is like Mohbad’s dad. He has taken all my shoes and clothes and he is just after my properties.”
