Nigerian doctor and hyper-realism artist, Fola David, has made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest drawing by an individual.
David achieved this feat at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos, where he began his six-day attempt on July 16. His goal was to draw 1000 square meters of art showcasing Nigeria’s diverse cultures. Notable Nigerians, including Peter Obi and Farooq Oreagba, visited David to show their support. David expressed gratitude for the immense support, saying, “I found new strength from all the positive energy and love that you have all been showing… Let’s keep it going, we do this together and we do this for Nigeria”.
